Top 3 Viral Dupes Seen on Tiktok๐๐
top 3 viral dupes I’ve been seeing everywhere on TikTok ๐๐
1.Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter vs. e.l.f. Halo Glow
Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter retails from £39.00 and Elf Halo Glow retails from £14.89.
- Charlotte Tilbury is a luxury brand that is loved by many, its packaging catches the eye and looks cute displayed on your vanity.
- When applied, the formula is smooth and silky. Whether you use a brush or a beauty blender it blends effortlessly. A brush is what would work best to get the full potential of the product as it is light coverage!
- Elf halo glow is a loved drugstore brand. The application stick of this product is nearly identical to flawless filter however the packaging itself is more simplistic and not as detailed.
- It blends perfectly and the final product leaves your face with a slight shimmer. It is perfect by itself or even better as a base under your foundation.
- By the end of the day, e.l.f. Halo Glow can get a little oily and starts to fade, particularly on the T‑zone, so keep that in mind if you have oil-prone skin.
- Overall, Flawless filter lasts longer on the face with not as much shine on the face and T-zone. This option is suitable for all skin types as you can use as much or as little of the product to achieve a 'flawless finish' anytime anywhere!
2. DRUNK ELEPHANT D-bronzi antipollution drops VS BPerfect bronze boost gel drops
Drunk Elephant d-bronzi anti-pollution drops retails from £35.00 and BPERFECT bronze drops retails from £14.95
- Drunk elephant is a brand most commonly known for their skin care products however they became increasingly popular after they released their bronze skin tint.
- A light coverage skin tint is the perfect option for everyday makeup and people have 'ditched' the idea of heavy full coverage foundation.
- Starting off with drunk elephant, these drops leave you with the perfect glow. One thing that stands out about this product is that it wont leave your skin looking too dewy/shiny.
- However, this formula was a struggle to blend out. Lots more moisturiser is needed in order to achieve a smooth base.
- Moving onto BPerfect bronze boost, this product has been my go to since I tried it for the first time. I fell in love with this formula. It blends without difficulty along with your moisturiser and gives you that instant fake tan bronze boost.
- If I had to nitpick, it’s that this is more of a makeup hero than a skincare saviour, its main job? Keeping your skin looking flawless
- Overall, BPerfect is a great affordable pick if you don’t want to splurge on makeup, it goes on fast and feels super smooth and of course, while it contains beneficial skin care ingredients(not as many as drunk elephant) it is perfect for a gorgeous makeup look while looking after your skin๐
3.HUDA beauty easy bake setting powder vs Maybelline fit me loose setting powder
Huda beauty easy bake loose powder reatils from £34.00 and Maybelline fit me loose powder retails from £14.10
- Huda beauty has been around for over a decade and I don't know about you but it reminds me of old prime YouTube days. Watching James Charles and NikkiTutorials try out Huda's eyeshadow range and lipsticks. Aw, bring it back!๐ข Anyway, Maybelline has also been in our stores for years and many love and know it as a popular drug store brand.
- To begin, Huda beauty wears good throughout the day with minimal top ups needed. It does blur pores as it claims and a big thing for me is under the eyes as it is a place common for fine lines. With this powder it works well blurring and keeping lines subtle.
- That said, it is very important to apply carefully as you do not want your makeup to look cakey!
- Moving onto Maybelline, this powder is again effective when looking to blur and smooth the face. The powder is lightweight and also offers different shades to suit your skin tone.
- While it does a good job setting your makeup in place you may find yourself reaching into your handbag for more throughout the day. A little touch up of powder will do no harm but it is not ideal if you are out and about without your products.
Maybelline is an affordable option for everyday but it's definitely worth investing in Huda Beauty's loose powder for a more glam/ special event makeup look. For your makeup to last longer, stay in place and keep oiliness at bay. ๐
